Pearlfinders is a research and insights company that provides its services to over 500 subscribers globally. Our client list is unique, and includes well-known IT service providers such as Dropbox, Virgin Media Business and TalkTalk, as well as global industry giants like Sodexo, Aon Hewitt and JLT.
We offer high-value research to these clients, interviewing senior decision-makers across HR and IT to provide forward-looking insights and prospecting advice. Over the last 13 years we have been changing the landscape of business information and, following significant growth, are seeking the highest calibre graduates to join our research team.
Our day starts by carefully monitoring the business press, trade titles and social media. We search and listen for early indications that companies are going through some form of change, which might impact existing strategies. Once identified, we speak directly to the companies concerned.
As a researcher at Pearlfinders you’ll be responsible for interviewing some of the most senior decision-makers working in business across the UK. Needless to say, excellent communication skills are a must! We discuss companies’ forward-looking strategies, and how these may shift based on corporate developments we’ve identified.
These conversations are written into reports that contribute towards a daily product that’s delivered to our clients each morning. You’ll be responsible for helping to maintain the consistent high standard of reports clients are used to receiving from Pearlfinders.
The role is fast-paced and you’ll be working in an environment that has to reach its product targets every day. You’ll need to be proactive and comfortable using the phone as this is how we hold all of our interviews, having in-depth conversations and identifying strategic changes that can lead to future investment. You must have a strong academic background, be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, and have something of an entrepreneurial flare.
No day is the same, and you’ll need the ability to quickly adapt to researching companies from different industries. We want self-starters who thrive off working in a successful team that produces high quality work every day of the week.
