What do you do at Pearlfinders?
These days, I’m Pearlfinders' Commercial Director but I've held pretty much every role in the company over the past ten years! I joined as a researcher straight from Warwick University, and then went on to manage the editorial team and then all product development. Today I am responsible for all sales, development and account management across the business.
What do you like most about coming to work each day?
I love hearing the success stories from our clients. From the ones that have been with Pearlfinders nearly as long as I have, to those who've just recently signed up and can't believe how they've managed without us for so long.
What have you enjoyed working on most recently?
While it was exhausting, last year’s relaunch of Pearlfinders was hugely rewarding. We rebuilt the product from the ground up, incorporating a host of new features we knew would prove popular with clients. The results have been incredibly satisfying – we’re seeing more and more clients use the product to help with account management, and the responsive platform has enabled customers to more easily access our insights on-the-move. There's an exciting programme of product developments and enhancements in the pipeline, so watch this space.
Describe the culture at Pearlfinders – what’s different about the company?
Speaking as someone who progressed to a senior role within the company when I was still in my mid-twenties, I really appreciate the way Pearlfinders - and the group as a whole - recognises and rewards hard work.
